Dia Mirza looked regal on the Delhi ramp as she walked for designer Anju Modi.

Designer Anju Modi is known for creating clothes that take you back to myriad golden eras in fashion. After making audiences time travel with her Bollywood costumes for films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, she again showed off her timeless craft at the ongoing India Couture Week 2017, organised by Fashion Design Council of India with Hindustan Times at its associate partner. Here are some of her designs, which are inspired by miniature art and palaces of Rajasthan:

There was something for both — the bride and the groom.

While softer tones also featured in the collection, gilded jewel shades were a high point.

Golds and ruby reds looked regal on heavy-set lehengas.

Subtle colour blocking and art-inspired watercolour shades seemed perfect for a day wedding,

Art-inspired colours were also a part of the collection.

The classic combination of white and gold infused old-world charm into Modi’s collection.

Velvets in bold colours like royal blue, emerald green and maroons also trended.
