Lae-based international clothing designer, Kenny Collections Limited, is geared up to participate in a fashion show set for this weekend in Lae.
Kenny Ng from Kenny Collections, said yesterday that the company would be modelling some of their exclusive designs.
“We will have seven young women and three men modelling our clothing lines during the event,” Ng said.
He said the female models would be showcasing 40 different pieces of women’s clothing and wear, while the three male models would be showing off 11 men’s wear collectables.
“We also have a line of the local Meri blouse that is being produced by one of our local staff,” the designer said.
Kenny Ng said there would be seven varieties of local Meri blouse designs on display at the event.
Kenny Collections Limited also has five different clothing and fashion collections that would be modelled at the event.
“Our collections that would be displayed are the Bird of Paradise collection, Flower collection, Black Colour collection, Plain Colour Collection and the Art Collection,” Ng said.
Trends Beauty international would be doing the hair and makeup for Kenny Collections models, while the 49 pieces of women’s clothing lines would be complemented by local jewellery designer Lava Girl Collection.
Lava Girl collection, however, would not be on the ground to witness the event but confirmed that their accessories would be supplied to Kenny Collections to use on their displays.
Out of the six fashion and design organisations that would be coming together to power the Chemcare-organised fashion night, one has confirmed its withdrawal from the event due to unavailability of models and other expenses.
The five fashion and design houses that would be participating at the event tomorrow at Lae International Hotel are Michstan Investments, Kenny Collections Ltd, I-One Limited, Lava Girl Collections and Trends Beauty International.
