The 42-year-old chief executive of Cinemagic lives in Moira with husband Jonathan Keatings and their daughters Zara (7) and Savanna (4).

Q: Do you take regular exercise – and if so what?

A: Out walking with the family is the only exercise I seem to have time for now. We love getting outdoors near where we live in Moira for walks, myself and the children.

Q: What’s been the worst illness you have had?

A: I haven’t ever been seriously ill and touch wood it stays that way. I’ve been fortunate with my health.

Q: How healthy is your diet?

A: I try to eat well as I need a lot of energy as a mum of two girls and the job I do, which involves a lot of travel. Because of this I eat a lot of protein and salads – but there is always room for improvement. Breakfast is porridge or a low fat yoghurt with strawberries and a prawn or chicken salad at lunchtime. Dinner is whatever everyone else is having but I always make sure the children eat lots of veg.

Q: Any bad habits?

A: Skipping meals, which usually happens when I am busy with work. I tend to fill up with a decaff skinny latte if there is no time to grab something better to eat. And if I’m home later in the evening that is when I eat the wrong things – snacks that are quick and easy to make. I also eat too many things and don’t realise I’m doing it if I’m eating on the run.

Q: Do you drink/and or smoke – and if so how much?

A: I enjoy a glass of white wine but, having two small children, I prefer not to drink during the week or too often as I need to be up early and have a clear head the next day. Cinemagic has a lot of social events, though, so I will have a drink then and when I’m having a nice meal with my husband.

Q: Do you take any health supplements?

A: Sporadically. I go through phases of stocking up on vitamins, such as Vitamin D, multi-vitamins and iron but once they run out I don’t get them again.

Q: How do you take time out?

A: On a plane when I’m travelling somewhere sunny, when I go swimming with the kids or in church on a Sunday.

Q: How well do you sleep?

A: Not terribly well. This happens when I am working on budget or proposals so when I go to bed at night I am still buzzing with all the thoughts going round in my head. Fortunately I seem to be able to manage on a little sleep for a while but it is draining. After years of trying many different therapies and exercise to help me sleep, I discovered that reflexology makes me feel completely relaxed – it is the only thing that lets me switch off.

Q: Do you worry about getting old?

A: I am one of those people who celebrates every day – and every day really is a blessing. Growing old is a privilege so we shouldn’t worry about it. I feel younger now than I ever did.

Q: What is your go-to product/habit that keeps you feeling healthy?

A: Spending time with my family – if my husband gets home early from work we will find a nice spot on a beach to just enjoy the view and recharge. A good night’s sleep is another way to really boost your energy levels. Being on the north coast is a wonderful place to be – there is nowhere else quite like it for me. Just being there is an opportunity to just clear your mind.
