Each student has been working on a simple Evans piece, in varying sizes.
They were given free rein to customise the piece to represent their own style, using a variety of design techniques, mixing fabrics, and being bold in terms of print placement and colour.
Evans is set to host an online silent auction of sixteen bespoke pieces designed by the second year students.
They hope the event will help to make ‘changes within the Fashion Industry’, educating students and getting them to think about differing body shapes in order to spread the message that all bodies are different and that fashion is more than one size.
The Evans and London College of Fashion collaboration is set to launch at an in-store event in the Evans flagship store tomorrow, 16 February, to coincide with LFW.
The collaboration will be running with the #IamUnique hashtag which according to Evans, was crucial during the design process.
The online auction, which will give you a chance to bid for a piece from the collection, will also launch tomorrow at 7pm, and will run until 21 February at midnight, with all money raised going to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
