While designer Rahul Mishra has a slot at Paris Fashion Week, this season, Reliance Trends brought the International Woolmark Prize winner down to Mumbai to showcase his Spring/Summer 2016 collection, titled Knots of Love.

Combining his sporty, girl-on-the-go aesthetic with his love for the craft, the collection featured bomber jackets, sweatshirts, dresses and even lehengas, all in a palette of blue and white decorated with patterns inspired by porcelain.  The expertly executed bandhini dyeing, quilting, pleating and 3D textures as well as the finely tailored silhouettes, proved that it’s this finesse and eye for detail that has made him such a well-appreciated name both in India and abroad.

What was even better to see was the smattering of new garments—including a blue and white embroidered silk gown that was worn by showstopper Ileana D’Cruz. Clearly, the designer does not believe in showing his audience the same thing twice.
