8 New Accessories No iPhone 7 Should Be Without

It’s easy to invest in a high end gadget and then not get the most out of it. I’ve been praising the benefits of the iPhone 7 Plus but realised I didn’t always put its new features to the best use.

To that end I’ve been hunting down the iPhone 7 accessories that both protect the device and extend the ways I use it in family and work life. This ranges from high end covers that fit the phone for extreme sports, along with hand crafted ways to dress the phone for leisure and work settings. Also, I’ve tried out stands, tripods and mounts that ensure you have the phone to hand when you need it.

This is my comprehensive list of the best products you can get for your iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus today.

Grovemade Walnut and Leather Case ($109)

I’ve been a fan of the Grovemade approach to tech products for some time. Rather than mass produced machine-perfect cases, they take the hand crafted route. For iPhone 7 I tried their Walnut and Leather case.

This has a wood bumper with fold over leather protector. As you would expect from Grovemade the quality is top notch. Not only in the execution of the build but also the design. By scoring the leatheron the back they have enabled it to flex and bend to accommodate different uses.

Place an iPhone 7 in the case and it is transformed. The smooth hard lines of the phone are complemented by the imperfect hand assembled quality of the case. Unlike factory made cases it’s not perfect, but it’s not supposed to be. This is a case that has a life of its own, a story that starts with the person who made it (as disclosed in the box) and continues with your use as the leather and wood wear beautifully over time.

Grovemade cases aren’t for everyone, but if you go with that hand made philosophy there’s very little to beat it.
